HEALTH CENTER
Gordon College offers free health services to the Gordon community. Basic health care services offered include, treatment of minor illness and injury; provision of over-the-counter and prescription medications; referral to appropriate health care channels; and education, support, and teaching of personal health concerns and wellness issues. The Student Health Center (SHC) is located in Gordon Hall across the road from Alumni Memorial Gym.
A close network will be maintained between the Student Health Center and the departments of Student Affairs, Residence Life, Counseling Services, and Athletics as well as other campus departments. The Student Health Center will use community resources to provide expanded health care services for the students. These resources include: Lamar County Health Department, Upson Regional Hospital, Spalding Regional Hospital and local physician offices.
