HEALTH INFORMATION MANAGEMENT ADVISEMENT

The Associate of Science degree in Health Information Management prepares the student to enter the world of medical records as a Health Information Technician in hospitals, clinics, and physicians' offices. Transfer to a senior college and completion of the BS degree allows one to be hired as a Health Information Manager supervising and administering medical record departments. An associate degree in Health Information Management will prepare the student for transfer or entry into the health care arena.
