PRINTING ACCOUNT BALANCE
Gordon College has implemented a printing system that helps us to discourage wasteful printing, conserve environmental resources, and control costs to avoid passing these rising costs to our students.
All Gordon students will begin their first semester at the college with an automatic printing balance of $25.00. We do NOT charge "real money" for printing from a Gordon computer. The dollar amount is strictly used as a means to help students better manage their paper usage on the Gordon College campus.
When a Gordon student logs into his/her computer account here on campus a window will open on their desktop (upper right corner) indicating their real-time printing balance as shown in Fig 1 below.

As a student prints, the dollar amount shown will be reduced .10 cents for each page until an amount below $10.00 is reached **. After this mark is reached, the student's account will increase $10.10. This increase will appear in the student's account on the following day.
PLEASE BE AWARE THAT STUDENT PRINTING QUOTAS ARE NOT RESET EACH SEMESTER.
** Note about duplex printing: Students are provided the ability to duplex print (front and back). Because this uses less paper, a 25% discount is applied to the printing "charge" against your printing quota. Duplex printing is only available in the Instructional Complex computer lab (room 107), the Library, and the Academic computer lab in room 109 (See ).
