Gary Cox, Halt in the Mud.
Jonathan House, When Titans Clashed.
James Richards, Party Propaganda Under Queen Anne.

These works were published by faculty who are teaching or have taught at Gordon College.

Be prepared to answer the following questions:
What is the general nature of the work?
Does the writer have a thesis? (an argument he is making throughout the work.) If so, what is it?

Learn as much as you can in an hour or so. I will ask you to tell me what you have learned. This assignment is worth 10 points.
